In the midst of one of the most challenging seasons Israel has faced, you have an opportunity to be part of something extraordinary.
Israel is facing an extraordinary crisis—a rare convergence of challenges that have upended lives and tested the resilience of communities. At CMJ, we are stepping forward to meet this moment of need.
Covid-19 disrupted lives and left countless families struggling to recover.
The October 7th attacks brought unimaginable heartbreak, displacement, and loss.
At CMJ Israel, economic struggles at our guesthouses, coffeeshops and with our tours have subsequently impacted our ability to sustain vital ministry operations.
In the wake of these challenges, people are searching for stability and hope. Communities are drawing closer together, and opportunities to provide tangible care and encouragement are more urgent than ever.
When you commit to a monthly gift, you create a foundation we can rely on. This steady support allows us to plan ahead, respond quickly to needs, and deepen the impact of our ministry across Israel.
Every Gift Builds a Foundation of Hope
Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." Your gift is a reflection of this truth—providing for urgent needs and sharing God’s love in tangible ways.
Even a modest monthly gift makes a lasting difference:
Your monthly commitment provides essential practical support to individuals and families in crisis, helping us distribute food, clothes and provide free legal aid.
At this level, you gift sustains our discipleship initiatives across the country, including bible studies, formation courses in Arabic, and our congregations. In this time of crises, these initiatives are more vital than ever providing much needed hope.
Your generous contribution helps us maintain our campuses as safe havens for those seeking refuge and rest, where we foster an environment of restoration and reconciliation across the Land of Israel.
In September 2023, a mother from Gaza brought her infant daughter to Israel for life-saving heart surgeries. Just as her baby began to recover, war broke out, leaving them stranded in Bethlehem.
CMJ’s Mercy Fund provided essentials like food, diapers, and special milk, becoming a lifeline during this uncertain time. Deeply grateful, the mother often reflects on the love and care she’s found among Christians in Bethlehem, an experience that has reshaped her understanding of compassion.
With help from the Mercy Fund, she will begin a hairstyling course to build a brighter future while caring for her daughter and supporting her family in Gaza. The solidarity she has experienced gives her strength to keep going, even in the face of ongoing hardship.

As Shoresh's Director, I've witnessed many challenges to the tourism industry—none more significant than COVID-19, followed by the shock of October 7th. During this time, inspired by a neighboring ministry, we began hosting mission-focused tours, bringing solidarity and support to Israel.
One unforgettable moment involved helping a grieving family prepare for shiva after the tragic loss of their 14-year-old son. Remarkably, this Jewish family turned to CMJ, a Christian organization, because of the trust we had built. We cleaned their home, stood with them in their mourning, and offered compassion during their darkest hour.
CMJ’s work is about more than service—it’s about building bridges and demonstrating God’s love in action, bringing hope and healing even in the face of profound challenges.
